In Wednesday’s lecture, we conclude work on Chapter 3, with a discussion about algebraic and geometric multiplicity of eigenvalues. In Lectures 20 and 21, we look at the definition of an inner product on a real vector space, and the concepts of distance, orthogonality and orthogonal projection that arise from an inner product.
